Aloo Tikki Burger.

So, here is my blog with the very first simple recipe of mine which is Aloo Tikki Burger in my Syle.

We all know Potatoes are the all-time favorites veggies of every generation whether children, youth, elders just because of their taste and creamy texture.  But still, there are so many health-conscious persons who definitely do not like to add potatoes to their diets because of weight gain when consumed in large quantities. But apart from this, we also can't deny that potatoes are one of the veggies which can go easily with other veggies resulting in awesome recipes.

Potatoes are about 80% water and 20% solids. An 8 ounce baked or boiled potato has only about 100 calories. *The average American eats about 124 pounds of potatoes per year while Germans eat about twice as much.

How to Make
The Tikki Mixture:

The main ingredient we use for Tikki Mixture is Boiled Potatoes.

Start it by taking 2-3 spoon of oil in a Pan, then add finely chopped Garlic and Ginger and saute it for 1-2 minutes, Then we will be going to add one cup of Green Peas and saute it for 5 minutes, then it comes time to add spices: Turmeric Powder (1/2 teaspoon), Cumin Powder (1/2 teaspoon), coriander powder (1/2 teaspoon). Red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon), Amchur Powder (1/4 teaspoon), Black Pepper Powder (1/4 teaspoon), Garam Masala ( 1/2 teaspoon) and my most special masala i.e Maggie Masala (1 Teaspoon).
Keep sauteing all the spices until it starts separating oil, then we will add mashed boiled potatoes and salt as per our taste. Then Mix it for 4-5  minutes and our mixture is ready.

Transfer the mixture into wide-shaped utensils and add 2-3 spoons of lemon juice, fresh coriander leaves, and half a small cup of soaked Poha and mix it and allow it to cool down at room temperature.

After getting the tikkis cool down, Set in a round shape by keeping it in freezer for half an hour which makes it easier to cut it in round shape, a size 75% smaller than the bun.

The Tikki

Now, it's time to fry the Tikkis...

We will start here by taking 3 separate utensils for our Tikki fry batter,.

1. in a wide flat. take one cup of maida, add 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder, salt(according to taste) and mix it.
2. In a wide bowl, add one cup of maida, add 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder, salt as per taste and mix it by adding water slowly and make a slightly thick batter.
3. Take one flat plate or tray, add 1 cup of bread crumbs, add 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder, salat as per taste, and mix it.

Now take out the Tikki mixture and cut it into a round shape as per the bun size.(Aside from this, heat oil in a pan for deep fry the Tikki)

Take one Tikki and coat it one by one with each mixture that we have prepared before from mixture 1 to mixture 2 to mixture 3 and deep fry it until golden brown.

Repeat this process with all the Tikkis.

The Creamy Tangy Mayonnaise sauce:

Take a small bowl, add 1/2 cup of Mayonnaise, 2-3 tablespoon of Red Chilli sauce, 2-3 tablespoon of Tomato Ketchup (Optional), sprinkle some black pepper powder and by mixing it, your creamy tangy burger sauce is ready !!!

The Final Burger Assemble:

Take a pan, add butter in the pan, add some red chili powder and mix it. Then add half cut bun in a pan and roast it a little on both sides.

Cut the onions, onions, and cucumbers (You can also add vegetables as per your choice) into thin slices.

Now take the one-half part of the bun, Put one Tikki on it and a cheese slice on the tikki, then take another half part of the bun, spread a thick layer of tangy burger sauce and add cut vegetables over it and then assemble both parts of the bun inserting a toothpick in it and it is ready to serve with any type of sauce as per your choice (Tomato Ketchup, Green Chilli Sauce, etc)

YUMMY!!!!!!!!!
